Logo: Beauty, Definition of a business

Logo: Beauty, Definition of a business

Logo, The first thing a customer, client or any one looks at is the logo. What is it? A graphical image that represents a business, it can be text and pictures, or an image manipulated in any way to give an identity. Logo is the identity for the business.

How is a logo made? A logo is designer by a specialist in the field of graphics. The field of logo designing is highly underestimated. Why do I say that? People are not at all aware how long it takes to design a logo. Neither have they known how much work it takes to design unique logos. All companies want a unique identity (i.e. a unique logo). Let us assume one designer makes 100 Logos, just an average. Knowing there are plenty of companies out there… now if a single designer is making hundred logos, he/she will need to have 100 unique ideas. Even more than 100 as some might be rejected by him/her during the course of designing. How logos are made? It seems simple; well it definitely is not that simple. Normally a designer starts of with a piece of paper and pen. Initially sketching as many ideas as it comes to his/her mind, decides the color scheme. It might take him a week or so to come up with the perfect logo. Even more time or more designers might work on the same logo so they can ensure that the customer is satisfied with the design.

After this comes the software part, we all know software is not very cheap, we all have a normal desktop or a laptop at our disposal, but a designer has a high end performance computer which is not cheap as well.

A good pc costs around $ 2000

Software costs around: $ 1799

If a designer stars making a logo for 10 $ he/she might not even be able to buy any thing hard ware or even might not be able to eat. It might just take him 380 logos just to over come what he/she just bought. The beauty of logo design is highly under estimated, logos are normally very low paid. Good companies know the importance of a good logo, and try there level best to get the perfect identity, they even spend thousands of dollars for it, as they have the knowledge of importance of logo.

A logo normally takes around 2 weeks to a month, depending on the designer. The field of logos is being taken wrongly; it must be taken seriously, for companies, as well as websites. And people should start thinking about it.
